What do you bring to NSM?
As Bookkeeper I bring experience – lots of experience – to North Star. I try to be consistent, be professional and do my job with integrity throughout the financial process both for North Star and for our clients. You should not be looking for “creative” in the finance position. Innovative, efficient, timely, but not creative.
What is your favorite part about being at NSM?
The energy, dedication and talent of all the North Starians.
What is your proudest project or biggest wow at NSM?
Returning to work after 8 months out and staying on track. Having the caring and support of everyone at NSM throughout my illness and return made me so proud to be a part of this company.
What does your title mean?
Keeping a close eye on the profitably of NSM without compromising the quality of work we do for our clients.
What is your favorite quote?

Talent outside of work?
Gardening. I love my yard and my home. I love the joy a walk around my yard brings me even after hours of hard work.
What is your favorite thing about RI?
Beautiful beaches, stunning scenery that changes with the seasons, diversity of people and places. Great food and restaurants, neighborliness – maybe because everyone is so close in the smallest state.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
Spain – the culture, the Mediterranean, the food, the colors, the grandchildren, my son and his wife and her wonderful family.
If you were a punctuation mark what would you be?
A question mark. Curious minds want to know. Why do you need this check? Where is the paperwork? Where is the receipt? How much? When do you need it? You did what?
