If the purpose of your email is to get your readers to act, a clear call to action is necessary! Here are some tips for making your call to action count:
- Less is More: Too many images and links in an email will drown out your call to action. Simplicity is best.
- Don't Beat Around the Bush: Make it clear what you want the reader to do. Make it obvious where your reader should click or call to participate in your offer.
- Provide a Sense of Urgency: Get customers to take immediate action. Explain how they can benefit immediately from an online or "limited time only" offer. If it's a limited time offer, be sure to include an expiration date.
