Williams Talks to Johnson & Wales’ American Marketing Association

AMA GroupNorth Star’s President and Visionary April Williams was recently asked to speak to members of Johnson & Wales’ American Marketing Association about what North Star does and how integrated communications is used to develop and implement successful client campaigns.

 

“It’s so great to have the opportunity to connect with different marketing students from across the State and engage in active dialogue about the inner workings of marketing communications and the various career paths and opportunities available and how best to pursue them,” Williams said.

 

“It’s a pleasure to share some of my professional knowledge and experience, and hopefully help guide students as they advance within the field.”

 

In speaking to the 30-plus crowd at the Johnson & Wales Downcity campus, Williams addressed how North Star effectively combines marketing, advertising, and public relations to consistently “wow” clients, as well as the latest social media trends, and what led her to opening her own agency.

 

North Star maintains strong ties to the community, including the State’s colleges and universities, in the form of various speaking opportunities and student internship opportunities.
