NSM Discusses Effective Branding At BankNewportAugust 5, 2009
BankNewport recently received a visit from April Williams, North Star’s president and visionary, who chatted with management and senior management about branding and the direct and critical role management can play every day as brand ambassadors.
Williams was asked to speak to the group of almost 20 about how every professional and personal interaction management has can impact brand perception, as management is that company or organization. She also spoke about the importance of public relations – including media relations – and how that correlates to brand identity. Williams shared tips on effectively preparing for television, print, and radio interviews, including important questions to ask media before engaging in interviews to help facilitate media relations.
“It’s so important for all team members to first be clear on your brand identity, and then to have that identity translate to everything you do,” Williams said.
“If you can successfully convey the belief you have in your brand and the passion you have for your brand – you are one step closer to favorably positioning and publicizing your company, organization, product or service within the marketplace.”
