Daniel Ruth - Design Dynamo

DanielAs Design Dynamo, Daniel Ruth leads design efforts for North Star’s creative team, delivering an effective blend of creativity and commercial awareness.

 

Daniel uses his keen artistic sensibilities and technical skills to develop and execute creative as well as smart new visual solutions for all of our client's communications needs - from e-mail marketing and direct mail to websites, photography, ads, and logo development.

 

Daniel spearheaded a logo and brand roll out for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Division of Agriculture's Get Fresh. Buy Local campaign, designing multiple campaign pieces including ads, t-Shirts, bumper stick­ers, banners, reusable grocery bags, a microsite, and Facebook and Twitter pages which secured a fan base of over 500 people interested in supporting local farmers in just the first year. His creation of letterhead and business cards for the Lawrence Medical Products launch and for Semper Home Loans has heightened brand awareness among core audiences, as has his work putting together e mail campaigns, annual reports, and websites for clients such as Admiral Packaging, Inc., Crown Collision, RI USA Gymnastics, Preventure, and COX Business. Daniel was part of a team that designed and developed a variety of COX Business lead generation campaigns, resulting in impressive 25-percent-plus response rates. Whatever the project, Daniel consistently and creatively delivers design that gets measurable results. He strives to not only push the envelope, but make sure the envelope is well designed.

 

Prior to working at North Star, Daniel was a design assistant at Mayer Creative in Pawtucket, RI, where he serviced a range of clients including package design companies, hardware stores, and the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island.

 

Daniel lived in South Florida until moving to RI to attend Roger Williams University. He graduated from Roger Williams with a double major in graphic design and Spanish and currently lives in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
